Contracted Seaweed Farms

Most Seaweed Farmers in Tanzania earn less than .25 Cents per kg for Eucheuma Spinosum Seaweed which takes 6 weeks to mature. We visited farmers onsite to understand their needs and how we can help bring their product to market for fair prices. As  a result, we now have 2 dedicated farms where we support the needs of the community by contracting for fair trade prices and  to help us reach  demand capacity for international buyers.
